Maureen Fulgenzi is a Palm Beach fine artist and muralist known for a fearless use of color and a range that moves from bold abstraction to realism. Her path began in fashion: she hand-painted silk fabrics for high-end designers — including Mary McFadden — in New York City, and cofounded "Gossamer Wing," which launched a hand-painted fabric-and-clothing trend into the fashion world. That textile foundation still shapes her work; even in abstraction, traces of form and structure return.
Today, working from South Florida, Maureen creates original paintings, large-scale murals, custom hand-painted ceramic tile, hand-painted vases, and commissioned portraits. She paints intuitively with mixed media and found materials from nature and daily life, letting each piece evolve without preconception.

She draws inspiration from Milton Avery's simplicity of shape and color and Jean-Michel Basquiat's expressive freedom. Maureen works with homeowners and collectors, interior designers, restaurants, and commercial clients — painting everything from coastal abstracts and equestrian scenes to Old-World Tuscan villa and architectural murals and whimsical children's-room scenes of mermaids, fairies, and rocket ships.
Whatever the subject, style, or surface, she brings imagination and craft to every commission, with most projects completed in 2–4 weeks — for clients across Palm Beach County, the Treasure Coast, Broward, and Wellington.
